The QuickNote Window   Figure 1 - QuickNote Window There are three types of note “HotKeys” you can create, they are: New Blank Note - Typing the “HotKey” for this item (Command-F13 in Figure 1) will bring up a text editing window with no text to so you may enter a new note. Copy Selection/Edit - Typing the “HotKey” for this item (Command-F14 in Figure 1) will first copy any text selected from the application you are currently in and bring up a text editing window with the selected text so you may edit the text and create a new note with it. Get/Edit Notes - Typing the “HotKey” for this item (Command-F15 in Figure 1) will bring up a window with a list of all notes that you may edit, copy, create new notes, search for text in any notes, and much more. You can turn any of these three options off by clicking the appropriate check box on the left. To set a “HotKey” for any of the items, just click the box that displays the current “HotKeys” for the item you wish to change. On the bottom of the window, there is an On\Off switch (that will either say “ON” or “OFF”). There are also two buttons; clicking the “Help” button will bring up the on-line help, clicking the “Prefs” button will allow you to set preferences for QuickNote.
